Dr Louise Ellis is a Chartered Association of Sport Exercise Sciences (CASES) Accredited Sport & Exercise Scientist (psychology support) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) who adopts a Humanistic Psychology Service Philosophy to empower athletes and individuals.
As a former international and Commonwealth Games hockey player, Louise understands the range of emotions that can occur in the high-pressure competition arena. As such, Louise adopts an empathetic, client-centred, holistic approach, which enables Louise to work effectively with athletes, teams, coaches and organisations to facilitate mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being.
Louise has a PhD in sport psychology which focused on creating a high-pressure penalty kick protocol with professional football players. Louise is also a Senior Lecturer at the University of Huddersfield and provides consultancy in person and online.
